The Capri Car Club Inc. is located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Club was formed in 1982 and, although originally established with the Australian assembled Ford Capri Mark 1 in mind, the Club caters for all Ford cars with the Capri name. This includes the British Mark 1s, 2s and 3s and the Australian designed and built Ford Capri Convertible, based on the Australian Ford Laser/Mazda 323 of the late 1980s. The Ford Capri name therefore covers a period from 1969 through to 1994.
