Pointy Records set sail sometime in 1998 as the original home for much loved indie group The Clientele as well as other highly regarded artists such as Campag Velocet, Big Slice, Flotation Toy Warning, Ladybug Transister and Color Filter. Based in London Town and set up by Andy Macleod. And yes if you're wondering yes the name is taken from that poem in the Steve Martin film The Man with Two Brains.
